The Reign of Teridax: Tahu: Part 3

Mazeka was hit by shadow energized magma and he fell to the ground. Tahu had never seen a Toa that was so heavily armored. It looked Artahkan, but probably had some nynrah enhancements. His weapon was unique. It looked like a cross between a shield and...something. The transformed Nidhiki spoke.

"Yes, Mazeka, I have a mask of stealth too. You don't think I would take transporting you to another dimension as a good enough defeat. No, you will be killed, slowly"

"And what if we stop you?" Pohatu asked, stepping in front of Mazeka.

"You don't" Malikiux answered. "Ha, a mere toa of stone, standing up to me?"

Malikiux released pure darkness at pohatu, who erected a wall of stone in front of him. Tahu and Lesovikk both leaped into action. Malikiux melted through the barrier and pohatu had no choice but to dodge, letting a blast of the magma hit Mazeka, causing the metalic/magnetic toa to lapse into unconsciousness. Pohatu made a hand of stone to grab the dark Toa, but Malikiux blasted it and began to control it against Pohatu. Then, he pinned the Toa of stone to the wall. Meanwhile, Lesovikk and Tahu got behind Malikiux. Malikiux had incredible reserves of elemental energy. Tahu was able to absorb some of the heat from the shadow energized magma, but shadow, as always, was their biggest threat. Tahu wished that Jaller was there. Malikiux would use his mask of stealth and then blast at them suddenly and Tahu would shield and Lesovikk would retaliate, using his airpower, though it was mostly drained from his previous adventure. After this happened for some time, Malikiux stepped into the light. Tahu instantly engaged the dark Toa in hand to hand combat, where he knew he would have an edge. Malikiux was definitely Nidhiki, who trusted more in his element than fighting skills; but apparently, his reserves were running out, forcing him to come out and fight. Lesovikk attempted to free Pohatu, but Malikiux pinned him to the wall with the magma as well. It was just Tahu and the Dark Toa.

"What made you turn evil?" Tahu asked, dodging a slash from Malikiux's massive weapon.

"Me? Like you said, I really am treacherous to the core. I like to think of it as wise. One thing you should've learned when your precious Mata Nui was defeated by Teridax: Evil always triumphs."

"That's your perspective" Tahu charged his sword white hot and struck with massive force at Malikiux. Malikiux tried to parry, but even his protosteel weapon got notched by Tahu's heat.

"I guess it's true that Artahkan protosteel is better than Nynrah" Tahu said

The fire blade slid down and gashed the Dark Toa's shoulder armor, causing a small reaction, sending Malikiux reeling. While Malikiux was off ballance, Tahu created a fist of energy using his Nynrah Ghost blaster, slamming and impressing the Dark Toa into the wall. 

"Though Nynrah technology is good" Tahu grinned.

"Always Triumphs? No; Evil has not won in this universe, or we would not still be free"

Tahu stuck his blade inches away from Malikiux's throat. The Dark Toa remained silent, but Tahu felt uneasy. Lesovikk and Pohatu suddenly were squeezed into unconciousness, but the fists continued to sqeeze, Tahu slashed open the fist, but when he had freed his companions, the Dark Toa was gone.

Tahu did not yet know the source of the voice, but he knew that he and Pohatu were in a strong magnetic field that would not let any of their mechanical parts and metal armor plates, move. Then a silver and Gun-metal Toa stepped into the light
"It seems as if someone does know about this place in this universe." he said "It is also evident that you did not use proper security systems in case the keystones were found. Fortunately for me, I brought my keystones with me. And now, since I've made them for you and this appears to be your Codrex, you have to figure out how to pass through them each time you come in here" The metalic toa began to walk off
"Since I get the feeling you're not working with Teridax, can you do us a favor and spare us wasting our elemental energy on something not worth using it on" Tahu stated firmly
"I seem to doubt we'll need the barriers and this won't use much of my stone power" said Pohatu
Rock formed on the wall, decreasing the strength of the magnetic field, and the two Toa Nuva walked slowly out.
"There is a much easier way you know" the Toa said, returning
"I don't care about that, or your barriers!!" Tahu exploded
"I should probably deactivate the energy barrier then" the Toa said
"AAAHHHGGGGG!!" Tahu fumed
"Easy, calm down, we're on the same team" the Toa called back
"How do we know you're not an illusion?" Pohatu and Tahu said in unison
He turned and said "You don't, but in my universe..."
"In your universe, toa aren't as noble or focused" Tahu said harshly "We have a universe at stake, and if you don't care or help, then I can personally make a way for you to cease to be in this universe!"
"I came here to help save this universe!"
"Then lets talk about things that matter" Pohatu stated calmly to distract the argument
After a few minutes, Tahu's fiery temper had cooled and the Metalic Toa was more focused
"My name is Toa Mazeka"
"An alternate version of Mazeka. Come to think of it, you are alot like Mazeka here, that is before he went through his training in the Order of Mata Nui." Tahu commented flatly

"As I was saying, I am from another dimension and I heard that your universe had gone quite different than what the Great Beings intended. I put it off though and got back to what I was doing. Over the course of a few complicated days, I found myself fighting many enemies and had defeated them all except for my arch-enemy, Toa Malikiux. I was on the retreat and then when our weapons clashed, with my magnetized metalic energy and Malikiux's dark energy, there was a flash of light, and there was a dimensional portal that opened up. We both stopped for a split second, but he used his telekinetic power to throw me into it. I fell into this weird dimension and wandered around until I found a place with a large spectral mask. It told me of the state of the Matoran Universe again, and opened a dimensional portal for me to go through. 'If the universe comes back to a more stable constitution, you will be teleported back to your own universe,' he said before I departed. I came to this island, and found that it was the same as in my universe, with the Nynrah Codrex base."
"Interesting. I have never heard of Toa Malikiux before."
"He called himself that, but he was originally Toa Nidhiki"
"Toa Nidhiki!" Tahu exclaimed "That treacherous toa changed the fortunes of Metru nui for the worse"
"He really was treacherous to the core then. He is that way in my universe" Mazeka said gravely. "He and I were good friends as Matoran. Looking back now, he always seemed to be the one who would make deals with others that did not go well. Eventually, He and I were exploring, and we found a Makuta scientist. Makuta in our universe were protecting the Matoran and still are. Anyhow, the scientist told us that we had been selected to be Toa by himself and Toa Iruini. The Toa of Air and this scientist, Mutran, gave both of us radiating toa stones, like no other toa stones I'd ever seen before. We went with them to a Toa Suva, and became what we are now: Powerfull toa with incredible control over their unique powers. I gained the power of Magnetic and Metalics, and an energy created by the mixture of the powers, while Nidhiki gained the power over Shadow energy and Lava, and the powerfull blackish red energy created by the mixture of those powers. He also took on the ability of Telekenisis. Shadow was not a negative power as it is here, but to Nidhiki, it was. He had so destructive much power, he got corrupted. My powers could be both constructive and destructive, but his was specialized in destruction, and so he became destruction, and brought many toa to his side when he was cast out of the city of Metru Nui." Mazeka finshed.
"Interesting" we shall talk more later if given the time. We only had time to talk now because we are waiting on Lesovikk"
"Ahh, Lesovikk, the most Noble toa of all. He and his team defeated hordes of Zyglak by themselves, protecting the island of Nynrah. My armor was Artahkan, but the Nynrahs enhanced it by embedding sonar kanoka in my armor in addition to the Reconstitute at Random and Regeneration disks, and Concealment Kanoka that are part of the protosteel armor. What did Lesovikk do here?" Mazeka asked
"If you tell him that, he might either be entirely depressed or very happy, but I would go on the safe side and not tell him" Tahu advised.
"He failed to act in time and the Zyglak murdered all of his team including Nikila in this universe" Pohatu explained
"That's terrible. No wonder he would feel guilty. Knowing him well, He would definitely be angry at himself and be depressed if I told him that." Mazeka replied
At that, the Toa heard the indicator that the Codrex door had opened, and they picked up their weapons just in case. But, Lesovikk finaly arrived.
"You were delayed" Tahu said, "But I am sure there is an explanation"
"If only you were this way with some other toa that I know" Lesovikk replied. "I had to deal with some of Teridax's minions. Exo-toa have almost become a science to destroy. They are science anyways."
"Robots" Mazeka sighed
"Hello, I am Lesovikk" Lesovikk said to Mazeka
"You should call yourself Toa Lesovikk, noble one" Mazeka replied "I am Toa Mazeka"
Lesovikk quickly changed the subject.
"Your vehicle is a great help. I love how it handles and it's firepower." He said to Pohatu
"You mean your vehicle." Pohatu said
"I am merely borrowing it, like I said.
"And when you return it, I will refuse to take it."
"Suit yourself" Lesovikk said "Did it go ever-well with you?"
"Mission Accomplished, now let's make plans to move out to our next job"
"But you must stay, I insist" A sinister voice said.
"Malikiux!?!" Mazeka said, suprised
